Doing our last day of class Professor Sabatino asked us to write down 10 things we have accomplished in his class. In this blog post I'm going to be expanding on some of my 10 answers to Sabatino’s question.
My 10 answers were 1) Completed a found poem. 2) Created my first research project using primary data. 3) Met all my assignment dates. 4) Created my first vlog. 5) Made my first website. 6) Made 15 blog posts in one semester. 7) Completed the three good things process. 8) Developed my ability to create a scene in my writings. 9) Composed my first scene with dialogue. 10) Completed the Proust questionnaire. I'm going to be expanding on my 1, 2, 5, and 6 answers. 1) Completed a found poem. Completing a found poem was a big accomplishment for me. When I first tried to start composing my found poem it was very difficult. I dove into my narrative project with a strong idea of how I wanted to pull my found poem out of it, but it just didn't work out. I actually ended up asking a friend who writes her own music to help me. My friend gave me a couple good ideas and a place to start from which I'm very thankful for. After about an hour of work I ended up with my found poem. 2) Created my first research project using primary data. I had to create research projects in a number of other classes but all of them didn't allow for the use of primary data. To me, there's something way more natural and respected about collecting your own primary data for your own research project. I really appreciated how we got to learn and develop that skill in this class. 5) Made my first website. Creating my first website in this class was very beneficial for me. I've been working on my own little company for a bit now, so getting the experience of making this website will really help me when it comes time to create one for my business. 6) Made 15 blog posts in one semester. Doing a blog post every week was something I was not looking forward at the beginning of the semester, but I'm very happy I accomplished all of them. To me creating these blogs was easily the biggest challenge in this course. I've never enjoyed writing and honestly I've always done my best to avoid it, but something about forcing myself to get through this every week was very beneficial.

I also thought the found poetry was very difficult. I had a hard time putting it together, it took me nearly an hour as well. I wish you the best of luck with the rest of your school year! Thanks for all your helpful feedback!!
